Growing up in Philadelphia gave me the ultimate appreciation for California. And now Asheville what an amazing place.
You will likely find me; taking photo's, hiking, cooking/eating healthy food, going to concerts and art shows, take my dog to the park.
I care about the earth, people, our health, animals plants and the environment.
I am living a very fun, active, healthy life style and am seeking a woman to enjoy this with.

I seek a best friend for a passionate, loving, long term relationship. Each one of those points being critical to a great relationship, not just words. I always seemed to do long term relationships and then I spent 23 of the best years of my life married. I was handsomely rewarded because not only did I have a mostly great marriage but I was gifted with an amazing now 33 year old son. If my then wife had told me she had Herpes, I probably wouldn't have married her and had so many great years and such a great son and grandkids. I put it out here because I would never want to do that to anyone. Even though it worked out pretty good for me, until now.
The end of my marriage gave me a much needed awakening. All the sudden I had no family and had just me to look at. What an ugly mess, I really had to go to work and grow and evolve. I talked to a therapist, friends and read many books. I learned better ways to meditate and take close looks at myself. After a few years the results were changing my life in major ways.
I always have gotten along with people, but this took me to a new level I am very thankful for, and my friendships seemed to go to a much deeper level. So I with the help of my friends have created a much better life and now seek a passionate, loving, kind woman to enjoy it with.

Nice, respectful, loving, passionate, faithful. I checked power, boldness, passiveness. In ways they don't go together. I am not looking for "respectful," like in the military. It's just a nice way to treat people. I may ask for a lot but I practice what I hope for.
