I dislike America's love affair with the automobile; I loathe sports utility vehicles and avoid driving a car. But I own a race car. My favorite mode of transportation is a bicycle. I like the high speed.
To avoid falling over, I must keep falling forward.

I can cut a perfect slice of bread while holding the loaf in the air.
I've started playing the harmonica.

After a number of first dates, I've seen my share of old photos. If your photo doesn't allow me to immediately recognize you, it's time to update the photo. And then there is the age thing. If you met me at a party would you ask my age? But the photo is from August, 2014.
About my views in life: Washington DC is the most conservative city in the Western World. With all of the progressive political views, we are really an up-tight bunch. I don't self identify with my profession but I like my work. I'm a trouble buster. I believe in Architecture. So many fugly houses and buildings surround us. I have two wonderful grown children. A scientist and an artist. I'm from Germany. But I try to be un-German. I race the bicycle for a regional team. I'm the fast old guy. It keeps me young.
What I seek in a partner: It depends. Everyone is different and I find many different women attractive and interesting. But I will be a bit focused and serious here: we need to have something in common. Like political views. So, if you're a tree hugger, object to capitalist greed, support public education and healthcare, public transit and a living wage, we'll get on just fine. If you prefer flats to heels and prefer walking to driving we can probably go somewhere together. (I'll even let you drive my race car once I get the battery charged.) You gotta support diversity. You know. People different than us. Recent immigrants; queers, dark-skinned people. You gotta be into some kind of fitness regimen. Are you fit? You gotta like small children and dogs. And maybe, you'll like me. :)
