I’m an east coast city girl who was born in California and grew up in Oregon. While I love living and working in the city, I'm just as comfortable and happy hiking, kayaking and appreciating the beauty of nature. I love to laugh and can find fun in most any situation. I’m a pretty positive person and like to surround myself with people who notice the positive things in life.

I have a soft spot for vintage style and music and love to try new things. I am spontaneous and adventurous and you'll notice that I change my hair style and color frequently. I read the newspaper daily, like sports (particularly football and baseball), travel, the beach, curiosity and tolerance. I work with traumatized children in a school setting and I value my work, my friends, my kids and my dogs the most in the world.

I'm addicted to exercise (particularly Orange Theory) and love to push myself physically. I love to go out to experience new things, see live music and travel the world. I've been told I look and act a lot younger than my age and most of my friends are much younger than me (whatever that means).

While I do enjoy a night at home snuggling and watching movies together, I really appreciate someone who comes up with fun plans sometimes and is up for adventure. If you are a total and complete homebody, we are probably not a good match.

I believe relationships mean making an effort to look inward, express my truth and hold a safe space for my partner to do the same. I want to feel seen, understood and known and promise to do the same for my partner. Oh, and laughter, intimacy, connection and joy too.

You have lots of energy, like to laugh and to have fun. Your friends say you are really funny and you find joy in the little things. You say what you mean, are comfortable talking about your feelings and don't expect someone to play coy. I'm open and honest and suck at politics (office and romantic).

I work hard at listening, hearing and meeting the needs of my partner and would like the same in return. I'm a physically affectionate person so it would be good if you are comfortable with/enjoy playful and affectionate touch.
