Hello, friend. I hope you find plenty of wonderful guys -- and find joy.
This evolving gentleman seeks an evolving lady for inspired co-evolution. Assuming you are spirit-filled, intelligent, wise, emotionally-grounded, gracious, independent, active, and fit, I'm interested in knowing you. I also hope you are complete with or without a man, and, like me, believe it will be more fun with a good partner.
What's important to me in a relationship is an irresistible force of attraction, friendship, companionship, and romance. I'm okay with a casual thing with an interesting person that satisfies some desires. However, I'm a one-woman man looking for a one-man woman, so some agreements will be in order.
Me? I'm an open book with lots of chapters and pages. Society accepts me fairly well, and yet I'm quite unconventional. I do know what I like and what I don't like, and I design my life with clarity and intention.
I'm an introvert who is also a performer (as a professional speaker) and quite adept at socializing -- I just get my fill of it quickly. When, after a day of work together, clients invite me for drinks or dinner I often say "I love you to death, and, I've had enough of you today".
I've been around the block and around the world. I've been a hippie, a stoner, a bit of a drunk, a scholar, a preppie, a business-owner, a suit, an author and speaker (current gig), a movement leader (also current gig), a country gentleman, shotgun coach, Kirby salesman, Eagle Scout (still am), committee chair, proud dad (emeritus), and devoted partner of 32 years (came to a close in early 2017).
My work is in deep personal change and growth. My clients are mostly executive leaders and executive-business-leadership coaches. It's a passion from which I may never retire. However, I'm my own boss so I do get to take all the mental health days I choose -- and I've taken a lot recently. After thirty years racking up millions of frequent flyer miles, I've been grounded since March -- and I'm at peace with this for now. My business is not doing as poorly as the airlines, but we are hurting. It's not fun to scale down, burn through cash, and let team members go, and, I will survive -- I always do -- and I am so fortunate compared to so many.
I've pursued the development of my own spirit, mind, and body most of my adult life, and have thousands of hours of clearing-releasing-auditing. I have delved into bodywork, energy work, wellness, religion, spirituality, movement, esoteric spirituality, meditation, nutrition, and exercise. This is fun since guiding others in their growth is my work.
Cycling is my first sport -- you'll find me racking up miles two or three days a week (want to ride?). I also do a lot of hiking, a little swimming (meet me at Barton Springs or Deep Eddie), and some strength training.
I know my way around a kitchen, enjoy plants (living breathing art), and have a home (and home office) on the east side where I enjoy hanging out among eclectic neighbors.
Speaking of eclectic, I enjoy rock, folk, jazz, soul, funk, blues, classical, pop, country, chanting, drumming...
