First, Here is a bumper sticker that I saw recently that I like ...... "Save the Earth: It may be the only planet with Chocolate".
Just for fun ... here's a quick random list about me .... I ...
~ Lived in CA most of my life but glad to be out.
~ Moved to NoVA to work for the Fed. Gov. ~ Was invited to do a Clark Kent look-a-like gig in Los Angeles back in the C. Reeves days.
~ Sing in the car to the music I like ( Base to Falsetto). Could listen to the BeeGees everyday ... and frequently dance alone ( dance kindalike Ellen D ... whatchout!).
~ Turn up the volume when the radio plays any Stevie Wonder song .... anything '70s for that matter.
~ Received very good faculty evaluations while teaching B school for 5 years. (Some of my grad school students remain friends).
~ Am very well traveled in US.
~ Get ready for this odd one .... eat healthy cereal with ice water instead of milk. Yummie. (OK, OK ... don't freak out.... I eat it with yogurt too :)
~ Am a planner and make lists of 'To Doos' but am very comfortable with spontaneity.
~ Way back when, was on the high school football team ...MVP, I might add ..... ("oh, gaud, who cares" ) and was on the HS golf team.
~ Walk and work out a couple times a week.
~ Love Mexican and spicy food (Curry, anyone?) but look like I don't eat too much of it.
~ One hobby includes painting large "over the sofa size" abstract paintings. Have actually sold some.
~ Bla Bla Bla..... just checking to see if you're still there. TMI yet?
I am about as nice and normal as they get ... well, maybe a little more PLAYFUL than normal. I am honest, have plenty of money, have a good career, am well informed and am an excellent conversationalist. Did I mention humble too? I'm in shape and have been told that I have very good hair!
You haven't stopped reading this yet? : ) ... I was married for over 20 years and remain good friends with my ex. who does not live in the region. I have been on my own for two years. We have grown sons together and we are very well adjusted, positive people who wish each other the best. Amazing but true.
So, thanks for reading all this (yikes, soo wordy) .... We are all in the “you never know” mode in the dating situation … “nothing ventured, nothing gained” right?
