Me describiría a mi mismo como
I am 6'1", 180 in good shape and health. I like to exercise and be active. People tell me that I look younger thatn my years, as I have a flat stomach and a relatively wrinkle free face. (However I do have gray hair).
I am divorced (it was amicable), no kids. I'm a warm, affectionate and sensitive person who enjoys open, honest and engaging relationships. I have a healthy sense of humor, which can be slightly off-center. I’ve had many careers. I currently work as a counselor/therapist, mostly with children - who I greatly appreciate. I formerly worked as an engineer and a technical salesperson.
I have wide interests. I love reading novels, watching movies (particularly indies), science (reading, listening), hiking in nature, attending theater, cooking, dining out, traveling/adventure, board/card games, some TV, tennis, woodworking and much more. I especially love good conversation with a special person.
I am politically left of center and like to read and listen to things political. I greatly appreciate John Stewart (The Daily Show), Cenk Uygur (the Young Turks) and Bill Maher, among others. I also listen regularly to NPR favorites Fresh Air (Terry Grose) and This American Life (Ira Glass).
I am not a religious person but I’m often in awe of people, creatures, and nature. (The universe is a wonderful and mysterious place.) I am tolerant of other peoples’ beliefs that are different from mine. I am good at fixing things (was a carpenter many years ago).

I am ultimately looking for a woman who wants a long-term relationship based on passion and friendship. I appreciate intelligent, stimulating women who are curious and have broad interests. My ideal woman would be sensitive and able to feel things deeply but would also know what she wants and be able to express it when she needs to. I appreciate someone who is kind, tolerant and open to other people’s beliefs, opinions and backgrounds.
