Greetings …
I’m an emotionally available, thoughtful and generous man looking for a similar minded lady who understands and cultivates peace of mind. I’m originally from Sri Lanka and I enjoy rowing, traveling (8 countries and counting), swimming, volunteering, yoga, cooking, art, music, etc., trying new things, expanding and sharing my experiences.
My life is hardly conventional, but I embrace it with joy, gratitude and a twisted sense of humor. I have no issue responding to a question with “I don’t know.” That gives me the opportunity to learn something new/interesting all the time.
I was in committed relationship that lasted over one year and recently ended due to irreconcilable differences. However, I’m grateful for that time because I learnt and re-learnt things about myself which I hope to bring to your table. It is my nature to reciprocate and do so with interest. For example, if you are understanding and affectionate with me, I’ll be motivated to give back the same and more.
I am somewhat a Sapiophile and would love to meet an a secure, intelligent, self-confident, creative, empathetic, spontaneous woman with a great sense of humor. Someone who will compliment my life without complicating it. I would do the same for you :) Life is too short to waste time and energy on ego, pettiness, narrow-mindedness and drama. In a recent personality test I fell in the ESTJ (The Guardian) category and a S type in a DISC assessment. Usually there is a song, a joke, a grand scheme or a naughty thought running around in my head.
My taste in music span many genres from classical to blues, folk to rock, etc. I enjoy live music and was completely wowed by Hershey Felder as Beethoven and as Monsieur Chopin. A few years back I was in DC and had the privilege of seeing paintings by Van Gough, one of my favorite painters, among many other fabulous cultural sights. I could have spent a whole month in DC visiting museums, art galleries, etc.
I’m laid back and non-religious. However, I respect self-reflection, cultivating peace of mind and spirituality. CAUTION: I am quite liberal and progressive (thanks to many varied life experiences and soul searching). I'm a ****er for articulate, logical, brilliant, earth shaking points of view. We might not think alike but if we are adult enough to agree to disagree ... hell ... serendipitous things could happen.
I can’t wait to introduce you to my family and friends and hear from them how amazing you and how much I don’t de********* :)

I’m looking for mutually uplifting companionship. Someone to eat, drink, dream and laugh with … a consummate partner in crime. Emotionally intelligence is essential and knowing what you want and what you can give.
If you make me laugh or laugh at my silly jokes, I will want to hug you. If you call me out, I will thank you. If you make me think, I will want to see you again. If you teach something unique/cool/useful/entertaining, I will remember you forever. However, if you think trump is qualified for public office, any more responsible than “dog catcher” … we won't have much to talk about.
Will you join me on my/our next adventure? By the way, I want to start taking dance lessons again and I would love to find a dance practice partner :)
