Me describiría a mi mismo como

I can be somewhat introvert and shy when around new people but once I warm up I am more outgoing. Friends would say that I am funny, a little sarcastic - in a good way, loyal and responsible. I have a handful of close friends and that is by choice. I am very career driven, financially secure and would like to meet someone who is the same as well as responsible (mentally and financially). I am very comfortable hanging out at home or going out for drinks or dinner. I do love to travel but haven't done it enough. I tend to go for more relaxing vacations. A beach, a book, and a beer/margarita/wine lol..love it! I am not the adventurous type - sky diving, base jumping or deep sea diving are not in my future. Sometimes I am chatty (once I know you well or have had a glass of wine!) but I can also be quiet. I really don't mind comfortable silence. I am not a supermodel, I eat burgers and fries. I should exercise but haven't found the motivation to do so. I am 48 but don't look or act like it so someone younger than me is alright. I am into looks in that there has to be a physical spark and attraction/chemistry. (Please have or send a photo) I am half Puerto Rican, German and some other stuff (basically a mutt lol) but I tend to relate more with my Latina side. I love Puerto Rican food (yes I can cook but hate doing dishes!) music, dance, culture, etc. I am not bilingual because I was raised by the German/mutt side of the family but I speak enough to get around. I can be sensitive, caring and compassionate with the right person. I have been widowed, divorced and single. I cannot tolerate people who are not honest, faithful and loyal. The lack of these traits are why I am here now...thank you husband #2! I am extremely private about my HSV, I have things well under control but no one in my circle knows. I've had one serious relationship since my divorce and having to disclose my situation wasn't fun. This is why I am grateful for a site like this to get the opportunity to meet someone who understands and knows what it's like to be in these shoes and this doesn't have to be what defines me. As you can see I've been brutally honest...

I do look at a person's attractiveness first - as do we all. But that isn't what make us attractive on the inside so I look for someone who is strong, secure in who they are, driven, compassionate, responsible mentally and financially. I've always had to be the responsible one in my relationships- it would be nice to have someone I can lean on once in awhile for a change. Good sense of humor, giving, and thoughtful. A nice physical appearance - fit/toned. Preferably Latin or Caucasian. I do not want to behave like someone's parent so a man that is strong enough to withstand my strong personality but isn't passive all the time. Someone who likes to travel. A man that is attentive but not smothering. I like to hug and hold hands in public. A gentleman who will open my doors and show respect for women even if they are independent. Someone willing to take the time to understand me and my wants and needs not just their own.
